ERSCP e-learning

The following core safeguarding courses are available free via the ERSCP eLearning portal. Please remember you must register to access the courses:

• Child Exploitation
• Fabricated Illness
• Safeguarding Everyone Level 1
• Safeguarding Children Level 2
• Safeguarding Children Level 3
• Safeguarding in Education
• Safer Sleeping for Babies
• Self-Harm
• Suicidal Thoughts
• Toxic Trio (impact of parental substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic abuse on children and young people)
• Understanding Young Minds.

External e-learning

There is a range of external eLearning which is available to professionals working with children in the East Riding. The content of these courses is not the responsibility of the ERSCP but these courses have been deemed relevant for East Riding professionals.

In addition to completing the core safeguarding training above, practitioners can also acquire level 2 accredited qualifications in health and social care related topics via East Riding College Distance Learning. The following courses are free and available to all learners over 19 years of age:

• L2 Domestic Abuse                                                                                                         
• L2 Adverse Childhood Experiences
• L2 Mental Health in Early Years
• L2 Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
• L2 Awareness of Mental Health Problems
• L2 Understanding Behaviour that Challenges.
