Early Help Assessment Guidance and Template

Early Help guidance will support practitioners from universal services to ensure a consistent approach in completing Early Help Assessments. An early help assessment is a way of gathering information about children, young people and families in one place and using that information to help decide what type of support is needed.  People from different organisations will talk to each other, share information and work together with the family’s consent.

Good quality information and analysis is required to inform and develop an effective and supportive intervention to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
