What is the role of East Riding Safeguarding Children Partnership?
“Working Together to Safeguard Children” (2018) lists, under the policies and procedure function of the local safeguarding children partnership, the partnership’s responsibilities in developing policies and procedures to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. This includes recruitment and supervision of people who work or volunteer with children. Safer recruitment is central to the safeguarding of children and young people.
East Riding Safeguarding Children Partnership delivers safer recruitment training which can be completed by undertaking an e-learning course or through attendance at a one day face to face session
